My development in electronic literacy

If I had to tell you when my first contact with computers was, I would tell you it was when I was still a kid.I was in primary school(elementary) when I started using computers, it was part of the syllabus and I also had a computer class every week. However, I only used computers to type or make drawings. By the time I entered to highschool I discovered the internet; I realized it existed so since then I began using it. ( this idea is clear but I do not understand the grammatical structure used)Now, I have found out that internet has advantages and disadvantages as well. One of the advantages is the information that one can find there; nevertheless there are plenty of disadvantages too such as the pornography.(explain why about yourself)

Through the pass of the time, I have noticed the impact that electronic tool have had on me, mainly in the lately years. For example, I have been using computers for different purposes like, doing researching, meeting new people through the chat or communicating with others with (through) the messenger. For that reason I dare to say that computers have grat influence on my education. Although regarding how much I know about operating computers programs I would say that I just make the programs work for my purposes, I am not an expert. The most common programs I know are the office programs (word, excell, power point) and some others for edition like vegas and adobe audition ? (I do not understand this) which can be applied in some scholar projects.

Now, I have realized how the use of electronic tools will be necessary in the future since almos all the fields deals with them. I believe that computers and the media are having an important role in our lives.They are involved everywhere and the educational issues are not the exeption. So, I expect knowing about operating electronic toolls better in order for me to enhance my teaching in a nearby future. I do believe that electronic tolls are quite useful as long as you know how to use them.

To sum up, we have seen that electronic tools play an important role today not only as a tool to be used just like a machine, but also as a mean of doing researching for different purposes. I think that if we use electronic tools for our benefit we win a lot. On the other hand, a bad use of the electronic tools could affect the process of teaching-learning in the sense of for ?example if you do not know how to make a presentation in power point that you think that it would capture the students’ attention and just for not knowing how to use the program you will lose that meaningful learning for the students. That is the main reason why electronic tools have a great impact on me an (and) make me be willing to learn more about them.
